Our History
HRLC Architects, formerly known as Hallgren, Restifo, & Loop Architects was founded in 1956 by John T. Hallgren (1928-1987), Joseph D. Restifo (1926-2010), and Robert H. Loop (1923-2017). In 2000 , the now owner, Chris Coughlin became their fourth partner. Thus creating Hallgren, Restifo, Loop, & Coughlin Architects.
Over the last 68 years, we have designed countless projects all over Erie, PA with a focus on community engagement. While also creating close, personal relationships with repeat clients, inspectors, local engineers and contractors.
